About the Role

Actively participate in routine Stores and Logistics functions to support Engineering, Workshops, as well as the demands from the Procurement Department. Additionally, the role is to support remote Stores, as well as the Alliance Distribution Centre (ADC) and the personnel directly involved with these locations. The role is to seek and implement Logistics and Warehouse best practices to enhance safety, operational efficiency, and cost control. Along with, providing quality service to customers at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination of all functions of the Store environment, ensuring that safety, compliance, systems, and procedures are adequate and in line with the needs of the business
• Support the Stores network, in order to ensure high performance and identify improvements to related systems and procedures
• Maintain and manage inventory in the local Store and associated network, in a safe and compliant manner
• Maintain adequate oversight of inventory stock holdings for the local Store and associated network, and coordinate stock ordering and transfers when necessary
• Assist where required in local procurement activities
• Aid in both the management and processing of routable repairs
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with management, staff, and peers
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, freight companies and their representatives
• Provide assistance to (Internal/External) auditing teams as required

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prioritise, plan and organise your workload in consultation with team members to meet deadlines. A strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail is essential, along with the ability to follow established work instructions and maintain high-quality outcomes. You will be flexible and willing to take on a wide variety of tasks, while demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration. To be successful in this role, you will bring: 

• Secondary Education
• Driver’s License
• Cert 4 in Warehousing Operations or Logistics (desirable)
• Dangerous Goods – Shippers Certificate (desirable)
• Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Stores, Logistics and Warehousing experience (desirable)
• Experience with computer-based inventory systems including implementation, improvement, and training (desirable)
• Experience in the aviation industry (desirable)
